Here's some inspiration for the weekend!

Be inspired this weekend! Enjoy one of my favorite songs performed by inimitable Eva Cassidy. This song is a classic Academy award winning song that was written in 1939 for the movie The Wizard of Oz and was  originally sung by Judy Garland. It later became this actress's signature song. Over the Rainbow also ranked number one of the Songs of the Century list compiled by the Recording Industry Association of America. Listen to this ballad's rendition by Eva Cassidy and click to read the lyrics below.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?
